Kavak Vocational School Construction Technology Program was established with the letter of YÖK Executive Board dated 09.09.1995 and YÖK approval letter dated 02.10.1995 and numbered 2080-19658. This program is subject to the 120 ECTS credits first stage degree system in the field of Construction Technologies in higher education. When the program is successfully completed and the program qualifications are provided, an associate degree in Construction Technologies is obtained. Candidates must have a high school or equivalent school diploma and have received sufficient points from the YKS-Higher Education Institutions Exam. High school graduates are placed in the Construction Technology Program with a TYT score.

Goals and Purposes

The educational purpose of the program is to train technical personnel with knowledge and skills who can produce and implement projects in construction companies that produce goods/services in the construction sector, architectural offices, companies that make applications on the construction site, concrete plants, insulation companies, and relevant public institutions and organizations.

Employment Opportunities

Students graduating from the Construction Technology Program are employed in construction companies that produce goods/services in the construction sector, architectural offices, companies that make applications on the construction site, and relevant public institutions and organizations, in line with their qualifications.

Transition Status to Undergraduate Programs

Graduates who complete this program can transfer to the following undergraduate programs with the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS):

  • Civil Engineering,
  • Protection and Restoration of Cultural Heritage,
  • Architecture.
